Welcome to Liz Meyer's Personal Fundraising Page
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
I'm riding in the Tour de Victory to help people with Parkinson's live well today. Some of you might not know that I was diagnosed with Young Onset Parkinson's Disease (YOPD) in 2020. Since then the DPF has been an amazing resource helping me to learn ways to stay healthy, active, and positive as my body changes with this disease. I am doing well and am mostly bothered by lack of fine-motor coordination in my right hand (my handwriting is AWFUL now!) and tremors in my right leg. Exercising regularly is part of my new medical routine and having this ride as a goal is super motivating! I am thrilled that Micah has gotten a bike and is going to ride with me on the 50km route this year. I invite anyone else to join us - the more the merrier!
Your donation to my fundraising page not only will be a lovely gesture of your support for me in my training, but will help expand the Davis Phinney Foundation's important work and programming. Thank you so much, I truly appreciate your support!
Gratefully,
